The Review of Financial Studies aims to publish research of the highest quality in the field of financial economics, broadly defined. RFS will review papers on the basis of their original contribution to the field of financial economics.

  • Advisory Editor Position Available

    An SFS Advisory Editor position is available for the upcoming academic year, with a flexible start date. The position is particularly well suited for finance or economics postdoctoral researchers and advanced PhD candidates.

    The primary responsibility is to provide editorial support in the review process. The role requires approximately 10 hours per week and a minimum commitment of one year. It offers the opportunity to work closely with the RFS editorial team while allowing ample time for independent research.

    Compensation is competitive. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

    To apply, please submit a cover letter, graduate coursework transcripts, any working papers, and three letters of recommendation to Jan Sokolowsky.
