Call for Proposals on “Politics and Corporate Power”
The Society for Financial Studies is hosting the seventh annual Review of Corporate Finance Studies Winter Conference on February 17 and 18, 2024. This will be a high-quality conference with a limited number of papers. Our aim is to bring together a select group of top-quality researchers to present and discuss cutting-edge papers in the field. We welcome submissions in all areas of corporate finance, financial intermediation, and household finance.
Submissions
We received 277 papers and 19 proposals. The Editorial Board selected 11 papers and 4 proposals for presentation.
Submission Deadlines:
-Regular Papers: November 16, 2023
-Registered Reports on “Politics and Corporate Power”: December 1, 2023
-Papers must not be accepted or conditionally accepted at a journal.
-The submission fee was $75. The fee is nonrefundable.
-ConfTool requires payment to be made before submissions may be uploaded. If you are submitting more than one paper, you should pay for all fees at the same time. You may pay the fee via credit card or PayPal.
-Submissions were not required to be anonymous.
Dual Submission
For regular papers, the RCFS Winter Conference features dual submission to The Review of Corporate Finance Studies. Authors should indicate if they wish their paper to be considered (at no extra fee) for publication by RCFS under the Dual Submission Program. This is a “no-fault” submission option: if the RCFS reviews the paper and rejects it, the authors may submit it to any SFS journal at a later date as if it had never been submitted. Decisions
Conference decisions have been sent as of January 5, 2024. Dual submission decisions were sent February 6, 2024.
