RAPS is pleased to announce that Maureen O’Hara (Cornell University) will be the RAPS Keynote Speaker at Cavalcade North America 2019. Professor O’Hara’s speech will take place Tuesday, May 21, at 3:45pm. For more details, please see the program on the Cavalcade web site once it is posted in March.
The decisions for Cavalcade North America 2019 have been sent. The program and registration will be posted on the Cavalcade web site in March. We received 1221 submissions, which was a 6.9% increase over last year. The final program was highly selective, with an 11.1% acceptance rate. Congratulations to the authors selected for presentation at the conference!

The Society for Financial Studies is pleased to announce that the host of SFS Cavalcade North America 2020 will be the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The conference will be held May 25-28, 2020. Congratulations to UNC on their winning bid!
Accommodations for Cavalcade North America 2019 are posted on the web site. The hotel blocks have expirations, with the first expiring on February 28 and the last expiring on April 23, so please be sure to book in advance.
The Conference on Corporate Finance and Financial Intermediation will feature a dual submission option with RCFS. The deadline for paper submissions is March 1, 2019. The conference will take place June 3-4, 2019, in Hong Kong. The Call for Papers may be viewed here.
Congratulations are in order! RFS Editor Francesca Cornelli has been chosen as the new dean of Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. With her new role starting this summer, Francesca will be stepping down from her RFS editor role as of May 1.
