A new paper by Sebastian Reinartz and Daniel Urban ranks 45 finance conferences based on subsequent success of papers presented at those conferences in getting published in top journals. They find that 62% of SFS Cavalcade papers were subsequently published in the top 3 finance journals, compared to 40% for the AFA, 28% for the WFA, 21% for FIRS, and 21% for the EFA. The Eleventh NYU Stern/ New York Fed Conference on Financial Intermediation will feature a dual submission option with RFS. The RFS sponsoring editor is Philip Strahan. The RFS editorial team is saddened by the passing of former RFS Co-Editor Rick Green. We would like to share the sentiments expressed in the tribute that the SFS has written; the tribute may be viewed here. Rick served as an RFS Co-Editor from 1990-1994. He will be missed.
