Editorial Team Changes

RCFS welcomes Camelia Kuhnen as an Associate Editor. We are also pleased to announce that Daniel Paravisini, Steven Kaplan, and Bilge Yilmaz are continuing as Associate Editors. We thank retiring Associate Editor Viral Acharya. All changes are effective July 1, 2017, except Viral Acharya, whose term ended in 2016.

SFS Council Updates

SFS President Matt Spiegel’s term is ending on June 30. Current SFS Vice President Laura Starks will be the new President. Josef Zechner will be the new Vice President. In addition, the SFS welcomes the following new Councilors: Renee Adams, Allaudeen Hameed, Tarun Ramadorai, and Karin Thorburn. We thank our retiring Councilors: Alex Butler and Amy Dittmar. All changes are effective July 1, 2017.

A safe asset for Europe

RFS Editor Stijn van Nieuwerburgh contributed this morning to a Financial Times editorial entitled “Safe Bonds for Europe.” It advocates for a new financial innovation to foster greater stability for the financial system in Europe. See the full editorial here.

Wharton Conference on Liquidity and Financial Fragility

The Wharton Conference on Liquidity and Financial Fragility will feature a dual submission option with RFS. The RFS sponsoring editor is Itay Goldstein. The deadline for paper submission is June 15, 2017. The conference will take place October 13–14, 2017, on the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia, PA.
