We are pleased to announce that Robert Marquez is joining RCFS as an editor. Robert is a professor of finance at University of California, Davis. He is an expert in banking and corporate finance and is currently an associate editor at Management Science. His first day will be July 1, 2021.
A panel honoring Craig W. Holden will be held at SFS Cavalcade 2021 on May 25 at 1:15pm. The panel speakers are Stacey Jacobsen (SMU), Avanidhar (Subra) Subrahmanyam (UCLA), and Charles Trzcinka (Indiana University).
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend, Craig Holden. Craig was the Gregg T. and Judith A. Summerville Chair of Finance at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and the current Department Chair. He was a prolific scholar and advisor to many students. The decisions for SFS Cavalcade North America 2021 have been sent. If you did not receive your decision, please contact us. We received 1566 submissions. The final program was highly selective, with an 8.6% acceptance rate. If you selected dual submission with RAPS or RCFS, you will receive a separate decision email from the journal in the next few weeks.
SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific will be postponed to 2022 due to COVID-19. We thank the hosts, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Shenzhen Finance Institute, for their flexibility.
In collaboration with our publisher, Oxford University Press, we have made our new Review Article free to read online. Read the introduction by Executive Editor Itay Goldstein and the Review Article, “Perspectives on the Future of Asset Pricing,” by Markus Brunnermeier, Emmanuel Farhi, Ralph S. J. Koijen, Arvind Krishnamurthy, Sydney C. Ludvigson, Hanno Lustig, Stefan Nagel, and Monika Piazzesi.
The SFS Cavalcade North America 2021 conference will take place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The SFS Annual Meeting will take place as part of the virtual conference.
RCFS is pleased to announce that Amir Sufi (The University of Chicago Booth School of Business) will be the RCFS Keynote Speaker at Cavalcade North America 2021. The keynote will take Tuesday, May 25, 2021, from 3:45-4:30pm.
