If you are a member of the Cavalcade 2016 Program Committee, please be aware that the reviewer assignments have been sent out. If you have not received your assignments, please contact Jaclyn Einstein. Reviews are due by January 18, 2016.

Last Day to Submit to Cavalcade 2016

Today is the last day to submit your paper to Cavalcade 2016. The submission system will stop allowing submissions at midnight PST. Please ensure you begin your submission early enough to allow time to complete the submission before the deadline.

SFS Cavalcade is the Best Large Finance Conference

A new paper by Sebastian Reinartz and Daniel Urban ranks 45 finance conferences based on subsequent success of papers presented at those conferences in getting published in top journals. They find that 62% of SFS Cavalcade papers were subsequently published in the top 3 finance journals, compared to 40% for the AFA, 28% for the WFA, 21% for FIRS, and 21% for the EFA. Submission Period for Cavalcade 2016 is Now Open!

The Cavalcade 2016 submission period is now open. To submit, please visit Cavalcade 2016. The deadline for submissions is December 7, 2015. Dual Submission: The Cavalcade features dual submission with The Review of Asset Pricing Studies and The Review of Corporate Finance Studies. Details are available at  Cavalcade 2016. Reminder for doctoral students: For papers in which ALL co-authors are doctoral students, the submission fee is waived.

In Memoriam: Rick Green

We are sad to report that Rick Green died on October 9th due to cancer. He was a Professor of Financial Economics and the Richard M. and Margaret S. Cyert Chair at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He was a great friend, colleague, and mentor to many.
