The submission period for SFS Cavalcade North America 2019 has ended. For information on the conference, please visit the Cavalcade North America 2019 web site. If you submitted a paper, you can expect to receive a decision in February. The registration web site will be available in March.

The SFS Cavalcade North America 2019 submission period is now open. To submit, please visit SFS Cavalcade North America 2019. The deadline for submissions is December 7, 2018. Dual Submission: The Cavalcade features dual submission with the Review of Asset Pricing Studies and the Review of Corporate Finance Studies. Details are available at SFS Cavalcade North America 2019. Reminder for doctoral students: For papers in which ALL co-authors are doctoral students, the submission fee is waived.

Recruiting at Cavalcade Asia-Pacific 2018

The University of Hong Kong is the first university to announce that they will be recruiting on the side of SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific 2018 from December 13-15. Part-Time Data Collection Assistant

The Society of Financial Studies has a part-time opening for a data collection assistant. Typical hours would be approximately 10 hours per week, but you would have the flexibility to work where you wish and when you wish. Internet access is required. Some familiarity with finance journals and papers is preferred. This position pays $20 per hour. To be considered, please send a CV/resume to manager@sfs.org by October 31, 2018.

Announcing the Associate Chair for SFS Cavalcade NA 2019

We are pleased to announce that the Associate Chair for SFS Cavalcade North America 2019 will be Ulrike Malmendier (UC Berkeley). Professor Malmendier will join Chair Antoinette Schoar (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Vice Chair Monika Piazzesi (Stanford University).
